Mother and child had just seen a Minnesota police officer shoot Reynold's boyfriend, Philando Castile multiple times during a traffic stop.

The police officer said he could smell marijuana in the deceased's vehicle when he pulled him over.

On the squad-car video, Castile can be heard saying, "I'm not pulling it out", as Yanez opened fire.

The scene between Reynolds and her daughter provides an even deeper look into the initial aftermath of the shooting in Falcon Heights, Minn., which was live-streamed worldwide on Facebook by Reynolds, who was sitting next to Castile in the vehicle when the officer fired.

As the video of Reynolds and her daughter spread online on Thursday, many social media users and civil rights groups expressed shock and outrage. "I don't want you to get shooted, OK?" It was also viewed as relevant that Yanez radioed in before the shooting that Castile resembled an armed robbery suspect because he was a black man with a "wide-set nose". Yanez had testified that he feared Castile was reaching for a firearm he had disclosed he had in his possession.

As the world knows, Reynolds broadcast the aftermath of the July 2016 police shooting on Facebook Live.
