In an early-Tuesday tweet, Constand, who has accused Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting her at his Elkins Park mansion in 2004, wrote, "Thank you for the outpouring of love & kindness & support".
Those women, and in fact all other sexual assault victims and their supporters, were put on trial by the defense, too.
On Tuesday, Constand, 44, took to Twitter to say that she is eternally grateful for the messages she has received. Constand claims that, in 2004 when she was working for Temple University, Cosby invited her to his home, where he gave her pills that left her "immobilized" and unable to speak and then touched her breasts and genitals and placed her hand on his exposed genitals.

According to McCloskey, who posted a photo of his juror badge on Facebook to prove his connection to the Cosby trial, members of the Cosby jury spent the bus ride after the trial in "complete silence", refusing to discuss the case or the 52 hours of deliberations that ultimately came to nothing. The entertainer says what happened was consensual. "Trust it, believe in it, and I'm confident that if this case is retried, he'll be acquitted".
Alternate juror Mike McCloskey said Monday he was "ridiculously sick" when he found out the main jury couldn't reach a verdict.
"I don't know why he wasn't convicted", McCloskey said of Cosby.
Jurors were selected in Allegheny County because Cosby's attorneys argued that pretrial publicity would make it hard to find impartial jury candidates in Montgomery County, where Cosby lives.
In new court documents, the prosecution asserted the court should withhold juror names to keep from compromising "an important right that will be prejudiced by publicity", such as the defendant's right to a fair trial.
Juror names are normally a matter of public record and judges must justify the decision to seal them, legal experts said. However, she said it's a different story if additional women come forward with allegations against Cosby. "A mistrial is simply the justice system at work", O'Neill said, thanking jurors and urging them not to feel that they let the justice system down. Meanwhile, Montgomery County's District Attorney Kevin R. Steele said Constand is "entitled to a verdict" in the case so there has to be another trial.
Troiani acknowledged the difficulty of the case, given the passage of time and the impact of the alleged drugging on Constand's ability to recall details.
