Chelsea continued their march toward the 2016-17 Premier League title with an impressive 4-2 win against Southampton on Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge.

"It's a great achievement for us but if you ask me if this win over Spurs means more - I don't think so".

Conte juggled his team again on Tuesday starting with Costa and Hazard, who came off the bench at Wembley, and his tactics were rewarded.

Antonio Conte will be hoping for a more dominant performance against Southampton, a team who are not as strong as Tottenham but will not be turned over easily.

While Lloris acknowledged Chelsea now have renewed confidence they can hold off Tottenham's challenge in the final six games of the season, the France goalkeeper is convinced his club won't surrender without a fight.

This was Chelsea's first home game since it was announced that John Terry would be leaving in the summer following 22 years of service.

Cahill has played in all 32 Premier League matches for Chelsea this period, forming a formidable back three alongside Cesar Azpilicueta and David Luiz.

Whatever Antonio Conte said to his players in the dressing room proved effective as the team emerged from the half-time break more determined and decisive. A 74th minute substitute against Tottenham, the Spaniard delivered Chelsea's solitary corner from which Hazard would eventually score the crucial third goal. If we sell some players it is because we want to sell some players.

He said: "In this part of the season, we are totally involved in the game. It is really important to win against a team fighting with you for the title", he said.

"We felt we had to change the momentum because just as we did between October and January, when we had a run of a lot of victories, they have been doing the same lately".

And looking at Chelsea's schedule, it's hard to see where they might drop more than four points over the next six matches.

"Of course, you say every game is important, but somehow, when you play against number one, it gets a little bit more important", the Denmark worldwide told the club website.

"When you have this type of player, you must be pleased". We reached the FA Cup final - a very important target in England - and now we play Southampton, then another tough game against Everton. We've just got to concentrate on our game. The motivation is always there and we will find it again because it's our passion to play football.

Conte will have defender Gary Cahill back tonight after missing Wembley with illness, and Hazard and Costa are set to start.
