A powerful natural disaster shook the southern Philippines on Tuesday, triggering landslides and loosening boulders that killed six people and injured more than 100 others in a region already damaged by a strong quake two weeks earlier, officials said.
Butuan Airport, Davao International Airport, Cotabato Airport, General Santos International Airport, Laguindingan Airport, reported no damages in its infrastructure, runway, and facilities, the CAAP said.
The quake's epicentre was located inland northeast of Tulunan town in Cotabato province, 972km (604 miles) south of Manila, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
At least 6 people have been confirmed dead after the natural disaster. USGS initially reported the quake had a magnitude of 6.8.
Police are also verifying reports that one villager was killed and at least two are missing in a quake-triggered landslide in Magsaysay town.

At least 50 people were hurt by falling debris, including some seven pupils and teachers hurt escaping their collapsed elementary school.
The powerful natural disaster was strongly felt in Kidapawan City, Sarangani province, Davao City, Koronadal City, Cagayan de Oro City, General Santos City, Zamboanga City, and Bukidnon province.
Several cities and towns suspended classes to allow inspections of school buildings. Patients of a local hospital in Kidapawan were evacuated out of the building for safety, they added.
According to Panelo, government agencies and local government units started to conduct rapid damage assessment and needs analysis of affected areas and communities.
The Philippines lies in the so-called Pacific "Ring of Fire," an arc of faults around the Pacific Ocean where most of the world's earthquakes occur. The nation has frequent seismic exercise, registering quakes on daily basis, although most should not felt. A second significant quake was recorded at 6.1 magnitude and was felt at 10:42 AM with a 9km depth focus.
