Trump drives a golf cart over the green

Trump was filmed driving his auto right up to the hole of a course - where the grass must be carefully flattened and tended to aid putting - in a video uploaded Thursday.

Golf etiquette says you don't drive a golf cart near the putting green - MUCH LESS ALL OVER IT.

Trump's disrespect for the game goes beyond driving his cart across the green.

Playing TaylorMade equipment, Trump tells the videographer that he was having a good round until the hole he just finished playing - you know, the one where he drove on the green with a golf cart.

But here's Donald Trump, damn near doing donuts on what is most definitely a putting green. Exhibit #456,756: this new video clip showing Trump roll his golfcart right over a delicate green at his Bedminster, New Jersey course after playing his turn, the golf equivalent of licking a popsicle right before it's handed over to a friend.

"Your own golf course", a voice off-camera can be heard saying in the video. He also owns the Riverview Club in Washington D.C., only a few miles from the White House.

Trump's voter base, however, may have a different point of view. "Your own golf course". If anything, this seems to be about convenience, and remember that it's Trump's club.

The New York Times reported that Trump agreed in 2012 to purchase a golf club in Jupiter, Florida, for $5 million, in addition to taking on the club's $30 million debt stemming from refundable deposits made by club members.
