MOSCOW, June 15 Some Russians believe President Vladimir Putin's annual question-and-answer session with voters is a stage-managed show where PR managers filter out any questions that could make the Russian president sweat.

Trump had said he fired Comey because of his handling of Hillary Clinton's email leaks during the 2016 presidential elections.

Putin said Comey's reported practice of taking detailed notes of his conversations with President Donald Trump was behavior like that of a civil rights activists rather than the head of a security bureau.

During Putin's press conference, he compared Comey to Edward Snowden, the National Security Agency leaker who was granted asylum by Russian Federation. "He should be aware of that".

On Wednesday, The US Senate overwhelmingly passed an amendment outlining a new set of sanctions against Russian Federation. "The Russian Empire was key in securing US independence".

Now, Russian president Vladimir Putin (who denies any Russian part in the hacking) claims the Obama administration ignored a proposal in 2015 that might have avoided all of this.

Russian Federation holds a presidential election next year in which Putin is widely expected to run.

The Russian President was very sarcastic when he answered the question about the hypothetic Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election.

McMonagle's tone became tinged with anger as he stressed Constand's misstatements to police about the day of the assault. Again, Steele read from Cosby's deposition. "Ladies and gentlemen, he has told you what he has done", he said.

Prior to the end of the show, a presenter asked Putin a question sent by a viewer, of what he thinks could be people's feelings about the circus with staged questions.

"As for us, we have our opinion, we say it openly, but it's not some kind of underground sabotage activity", he said.

Mr Putin, who will turn 65 this year, has dominated Russia's political landscape for 17 years and remains popular with many Russians. He mentioned that both countries could do well by collaborating over the issues of global poverty, climate change, curtailing of mass destruction weapons, and preventing escalation between the United States and North Korea.

During his testimony before the senate intelligence committee, Comey said he wrote the memo as an unclassified document and did so out of an abundance of caution to corroborate his account of that meeting with Trump in March.

Putin said that his second grandchild was born recently, adding that he keeps them out of the spotlight so that they can have a normal upbringing.

"I am afraid to be discourteous", said Pamfilova.

The youthful demonstrators said they were fed up with the stagnant authoritarianism that Putin has come to represent.

As for Russian Federation, "we have an opinion of our own, we express it openly".
