Videos showed Woods to be groggy and disoriented when he was arrested and taken into custody after police found him asleep in his vehicle on a road near his Jupiter, Fla., home.
Rolfing said he had not been in contact with Woods since the arrest, adding: "I figure if he wants to talk, he will (reach out)".
After his embarrassing May 29 arrest, Woods announced that he didn't have alcohol in his system, rather, it was "an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications".
After a DUI arrest in May, and rumors spreading about rehab, a tweet appeared on Tiger Woods's official Twitter account Monday evening stating he was "receiving professional help to manage" his medications "and the ways" that he deals with back pain and an undisclosed sleep disorder.
His arraignment, originally scheduled for July 5, was delayed last week until August 9. "I want to thank everyone for the awesome outpouring of support", he wrote.
Rain ends Australian victory hopes again in ICC Champions Trophy
Another four overs more could have given Australia full two points as 20 overs were needed to constitute a completed match . Australia's bowling has become too predictable, look for the seamers to change tactic and work in their variations.
In the statement, Woods also thanked fans and players.
Woods' announcement comes less than a month after he was arrested for DUI in Florida.
Though Woods won the event twice - in 2009 and 2012 - he has frequently missed it because of injury, beginning with 2008, after he had surgery to fix both a shredded knee and a broken leg following his U.S. Open victory at Torrey Pines, the last of his major championship victories.
Last week marked the ninth anniversary of Woods' last major victory, the 2008 US Open. He underwent his fourth back surgery in April.
"The surgery went well, and I'm optimistic this will relieve my back spasms and pain", Woods said.
