Eventually the site where the Pulse Nightclub once stood will become a memorial park, celebrating the lives of the victims. His widow, Noor Salman, is charged in federal court with aiding and abetting Mateen's attack and lying to authorities.

URBANA, Ill. (AP) - Officials and the family of a Chinese scholar are offering $40,000 for information leading to an arrest in the disappearance of the woman from the University of IL. Crime Stoppers President John Hecker says the record reward was raised with the help of a GoFundMe page. She's from Jianyang, China.

There are now two separate rewards posted for information that helps solve the disappearance of Yingying Zhang. Police say they are following leads, but can't discuss particulars about the case. But FBI spokesman Brad Ware says informants will have to identify themselves to have a chance of collecting.

The whereabouts of Zhang Yingying, 26, have remained unknown since last Friday when she was seen near the north end of the campus of the University of IL at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), wearing a charcoal-colored baseball cap, a pink and white top, jeans and white tennis shoes and carrying a black backpack, the Xinhua news agency reported. Her friends told authorities she had gone out to sign a lease. Police have surveillance video showing her getting into a black Saturn Astra in Urbana.
