NDTV reported that officers who had gathered at the headquarters of the BSF's 77th battalion in Ferozepur in Punjab for the Sainik Sammelan were waiting to watch the motivational training clip, but what played on the screen was a porn clip. The almost one-minute porn video clip was played on the projector through a laptop of an officer who was entrusted the job of making the presentation before the audience.
The "darbar" was organised to discuss the issues faced by the BSF personnel. "The clip played for 90 seconds before it was abruptly shut down". He, however, said the porn clip was played for about two to five seconds and seven to eight women were present in the room at the time.
