Judge clouts 22nd homer, propels Yankees past Angels 5-3

Counting two games they lost in Washington - one of the games was made up Thursday night - the Orioles have lost five straight series away from Baltimore.

After this weekend's sweep at the hands of the New York Yankees, the best the Orioles can do in 2017 would be a split of the 10 games played there this season.

Still, the rookie sensation with the shirt referencing a character from the movie "The Sandlot" didn't sound too impressed. Standing 6-foot-7 and weighing 282 pounds, Judge shouldn't be a baseball player.

The Yankees hit four homers Sunday and a total of 12 in the three-game series - two of them by Judge to give him a major league-leading 21 home runs this season.

Coming into the season, the Orioles were one of the favorites to win the division, but a slow start to the season has them sitting in 3rd place, three and a half games behind the Yankees and half a game behind the Boston Red Sox.

Josh Donaldson hit a two-run homer for Toronto, and J.A. Happ struck out eight in six innings.

The Yankees are back in action on Monday against the Los Angeles Angels and Alex Meyer.
