With almost complete results in, the Kosovar Albanian coalition calling itself "the war wing" is claiming victory in the general election of the disputed state, claiming that they have amassed "a convincing victory" in the vote.

If the results stand and Mr Haradinaj becomes prime minister it could further strain relations with Russian-backed Serbia. The Vetevendosje movement which is ranked as second refused entering coalition with the PDK.
No group can govern alone and a coalition is likely.
The nationalist VV had 27 percent, just ahead of a coalition led by outgoing Prime Minister Isa Mustafa's Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), which had 26 percent. The approval of another agreement with Serbia giving more rights to the ethnic Serb minority, and the continuation of fraught talks with Belgrade, which denies Kosovo's existence as a state, were also key concerns.

The final results for the new 120-seat parliament are expected later in the week. The remaining 20 seats would go to minorities - 10 to Serbs and 10 to other ethnic groups. The nationalist Movement for Self-determination was also happy with the results as they doubled their vote from the last election. The party's members and supporters released tear gas inside parliament and threw firebombs outside it to protest the contentious deals with Montenegro and Serbia. Kosovo's independence is recognised by 115 countries, excluding Serbia and its ally Russian Federation.
EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn said he hopes that Kosovo's representatives understand that "a future perspective, in terms of more and better living conditions, is only achievable embedded into the European Union".
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses confidence that new institutions will be established soon, in accordance with the will expressed and the constitution of the country, so as to respond to the priorities, needs and development challenges, by also including the acceleration of the Euro-Atlantic integration process", the ministry said in a statement.
