"Wonder Woman" conquered milestones and movie myths at North American theaters, where the Patty Jenkins-directed superhero film powered its way to a $100.5 million debut this weekend and became the biggest blockbuster ever directed by a woman.
"Wonder Woman" has pulled in $125 million from overseas markets this weekend, putting it over some major superhero titles like its fellow DC Extended Universe title, "Man of Steel".
Wonder Woman is about to land in the dark rooms of France and is already thinking about his next fighting.
After receiving huge praise from critics and cinema-goers alike, Wonder Woman has smashed a huge record, grossing $101 million over the weekend in the US. The previous record was just over $85 million, and was held by Fifty Shades of Grey director Sam Taylor-Johnson. But as X-Men's Storm approached her to fight, Wonder Woman dropped Mjolnir: She only wanted a fair fight.

With this change coming with iOS 11 in September, nothing is going to stop you from releasing updates early and often. Granted, it's a feature that should've been introduced when Apple still made 16GB iOS devices, but it's nice to have.

Rottentomatoes gave "Wonder Woman" a smooth 93% and I completely agree with the score.
"I wanted to ramp that tension as much as possible, and unfortunately, we didn't have it", she told The Hollywood Reporter in a cover story interview.
Superhero movie fans who were hoping for more female-led films in the future can breathe a sigh of relief and pride thanks to these box office numbers. It earned $122.5 million internationally, including $38 million in China.
Coming in second at the box office was another new release, "Captain Underpants", which took in $23.9 million, according to Exhibitor Relations. Given this weekend's box office success, a sequel announcement is probably isn't too far behind.
"The Gods have seen fit to bless us with Wonder Woman", she wrote on Twitter.
