Either way, it's an impressive first month of sales for Nintendo's new console; whether the long-time Japanese game console maker can sustain that momentum is another question altogether.

The Nintendo Switch saw high demand and sales in United States alone, and has become the best-selling Nintendo console in the region per a launch-month period.

According to a report by the NPD Group, which tracks the sale of video games in the us, the Nintendo Switch system sold more than 906,000 units in the month of March, making it one of the fastest-selling gaming systems of all times.

It is confirmed that more than nine-hundred thousand units of Nintendo Switch was sold last month.

The company sold over 906,000 Switches in the USA in March. "We are thrilled with the incredible response we have received to date for Project Scorpio, and look forward to sharing more about the Xbox One family of devices in the coming months", Xbox marketing boss Mike Nichols stated. The Nintendo Switch sold 906,000 SKUs in North America, while the remaining stock of their 2 million SKU supply was split between Japan, Europe and Australia.
