Officials said Pakistani troops targetted dozens of villages and posts in Shahpur, Kerni and Kasaba sector in the early hours, resulting in the death of the two children and injuries to 5 other civilians.
Last month it said a five-year-old girl had been killed when she was hit by a bullet fired from the Indian side.
An Army vehicle was also damaged in the aggression by Pakistani troops.
Indian Military retaliated very strongly and gave a befitting reply to the Pakistani troops.

In another development, security forces along the border foiled an infiltration bid in Keran sector that led to the killing of an infiltrator.

"An exchange of fire took place between the sides", he said adding search operation was launched soon after the gunfire stopped.
