Last Wednesday, Trump took down the attorney general in a New York Times interview, where he said, "Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else".
Mr. Sessions said he intends to step up prosecutions and leak investigations - priorities he said had already begun.
Trump's remarks represent an extraordinary rebuke from the President toward the nation's top law enforcement official, who is also one of his earliest political allies - Sessions was the first sitting senator to back Trump's presidential bid.
Last week during an interview with The New York Times, Trump said he would not have picked Sessions if he had known he would recuse himself in the ongoing Russian Federation investigation. He wants Sessions out, and discussed its implications with his advisers and has even looked at possible replacements. And in recent days, that criticism has spilled into public view as the president has mocked and criticized Sessions in an apparent effort to force him to quit. If Sessions were gone, Trump could try to appoint a replacement willing to carry out the firing.

Talinda, who was married to Chester for 12 years , vowed that she would try to pick up the pieces for the sake of their children . The tragedy forced Linkin Park to cancel their One More Light North American Tour that was scheduled to last until October 22.
Special counsel Robert Mueller, who is leading the probe and has also come under attack by the president, is reportedly investigating Mr Trump for possible obstruction of justice, both in the firing of former Federal Bureau of Investigation chief James Comey and whether he tried to end an inquiry into sacked national security adviser Michael Flynn. Epstein has previously said she "unapologetically" supports Trump and would help fulfill his dream of building a massive wall along the USA border with Mexico and cut off federal funding for sanctuary cites that try to oppose more aggressive immigration enforcement efforts.
Going after Mueller, "could be the beginning of the end of the Trump presidency", Graham said. "And an Attorney General who doesn't follow the law is not very effective in leading the Department of Justice". Not only will there be no confirmation for an attorney general in 2017, but "if Jeff Sessions is fired, there will be holy hell to pay", he said. Trump has accused McCabe of having ties to his former presidential rival, Democrat Hillary Clinton. He's traveling with leaders of the Justice Department's criminal division who are seeking ways to stamp out MS-13.
Later on Fox News, Graham was asked about his comment. "But I believe that I understand his mission", he said.
"The president can not draw a red line about what a special prosecutor might do", Graham said.
