The Qualcomm's yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 836 SoC has been the talk-of-town for quite some time.
However, it's nearly the end of the month, but there is no news of Snapdragon 836 processor. However, a new report this week tells us a different story.
Google Pixel 2 is no secret after Google confirmed that it was working on launching the successors to last year's Pixel, Pixel XL smartphones; however, the details about internal hardware are scarce. Just last month, a device said to be the Pixel 2 XL even appeared on the GFXBench benchmark listing.
The source even went on to claim that the Snapdragon 836 will feature higher peak GPU and CPU clock speeds than the Snapdragon 835. It has to be noted that "Snapdragon 836" is Snapdragon's upcoming chipset.

After the clip concluded, a montage began with Kendrick Lamar's newest single "D.N.A." playing in the background. Bullets are whizzing everywhere, tables are flipping over, and T'Challa notices Klaw trying to escape.
It was rumored that the Galaxy Note 8 would be the first device to feature the Snapdragon 836 chipset. The result will be a slightly faster SoC with some battery life improvements.
Previously, some key specifications of both the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were leaked online. As per the leak, these phones will have "pressure-sensitive frames", which resembles that of HTC's Edge Sense technology.
Coming to smaller Walleye, the smartphone will feature a similar 4.97-inch Full HD display and will sport a similar design language as we have seen in original Pixel.
Expected design of Pixel 2. This comes in stark contrast to some of the previous rumours about the Pixel 2 lineup which indicated that the smartphones would ship with the Snapdragon 835 processor. Further, the device is reported to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.4GHz along with 4GB of RAM.
