Croatia's Marin Cilic reached his third Queen's Club final as the world number seven won the battle of the big servers to beat Gilles Muller 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 on Saturday.
There were no breaks in the second set although Muller had to fend off two set points at 5-6, the first after turning around a rally Querrey had been in control of with a crafty lob and the second with an unreturnable serve.
Fourth seed Cilic, victor in 2012, overpowered American teenager Stefan Kozlov 6-0 6-4 while Querrey, who triumphed seven years ago at the west London club, got the better of Australian Jordan Thompson, winning 7-6 (3) 3-6 6-3.
The fourth-seeded Cilic is the top player left following the first-round exits of Andy Murray, Stan Wawrinka and Milos Raonic the top three seeded players.
Cilic, the 2012 champion, earlier beat Luxembourg's Gilles Muller 6-3 5-7 6-4.
"Today's match was an extremely high level", said Cilic.
'Definitely he's going to be playing really well, and, you know, he's feeling at home in Wimbledon.
Lopez was able to capitalise on a series of Dimitrov errors in the 11 game of the first set to break before holding serve easily.
Lopez, for all his elegant grasscourt skills and one of the most devilish serves in tennis, has only made three Wimbledon quarter-finals in 15 visits.
Qatar bids for stake in major USA airline
These countries have also either severely restricted Qatar Airways' access to or outright banned the airline from their airspace. American said that Qatar's proposed investment wouldn't change its board makeup, governance, management or strategic direction.
Lopez performed miracles to scramble a point at 7-7 and serve for the match but Cilic responded with a nerveless volley after an exchange of blows from the baseline.
"It's tough to believe at 35 that I'm playing my best tennis, but I am". He came through his next match against the American player, Stefan Kovlov easily, bagelling the young American in the first set. "When you are playing on grass and playing a youngster like Kozlov, you have to be ready from the first point".
Lopez is in as good a form as he's been in his career I would say, the way he's hitting the ball. But it still contains two strong grass-court players who will be gaining plenty of confidence heading into Wimbledon, which starts on July 3.
Cilic will face either Grigor Dimitrov or Feliciano Lopez in the final.
"I played him here a year ago, had a match point, but lost in the end", the Spaniard said.
However Mullers chances of upsetting Cilic were quickly extinguished in the decider with the Croat delivering a second-serve ace to claim the place in the final.
It is perhaps a surprise then that he has never gone past the quarter-finals at SW19 but his obstacles - Novak Djokovic twice and Roger Federer previous year - were considerable.
"I would love to win this title".
