IPhone 8 hands-on video shows Apple's new phone from every angle

With three months to go before its traditional annual smartphone refresh, Apple (AAPL) still hasn't locked down the design of its iPhone 8 handset, investment bank Cowen said Wednesday.

According to CNET, the issues could mean the iPhone 8 will be delayed going on sale, which is a sentiment analyst firm Cowen & Co. seems to share. The analyst expects Apple to sell 46 million iPhones during the September quarter, well below the Wall Street consensus of 47-48 million units. Instead, they can charge it wire-free on an inductive surface. But the new leak is about the cases and covers for the iPhone 8 that are already up for sale in the United Kingdom along with their prices, according to report by Forbes.

A new video has emerged that claims to show off the next generation of iPhone from Apple in the form of the iPhone 8. Reports have claimed that the new iPhone will feature a 5.5-inch OLED (organic light-emitting diode) screen, an A11 chipset, an iOS 11 operating system, a 3D depth-sensing front camera, a wireless charger, and a new fingerprint ID solution.

However this has been disputed by recent suggestions that the iPhone 8 could retail around £560, with the 64GB version between £685 and £725. Available in Crystal Clear or Blue, the transparent case gives a full view of the back of the iPhone 8, while providing additional reinforcements around the device corners and around the screen (to minimize shock from impacts that could damage the near bezel-less display).

2013: Another "s" model, this time the iPhone 5s, is launched. The final option would be to replace the the AuthenTec Touch ID with a "film" fingerprint sensor that is integrated with the display, as per the report.

Although we are still months away from being able to get our hands on the iPhone 8, leaks continue to come in thick and fast, much to Apple's chagrin.
