Medical examiners are still trying to determine the cause of death of a man found dead and tied up in a closet in the same home where his brother murdered an eight-year-old boy six years ago. The Butcher of Brooklyn told police investigators he panicked after he realized a massive search was underway for the missing child.

The 29-year-old bakery worker was last seen on Tuesday. He was wearing five shirts at the time, including a hoodie that covered the back of his head, police sources said.

The East 2nd Street home was blocked off with crime scene tape on Friday afternoon - an eerily familiar scene, given that part of the dismembered body of 8-year-old Lieby Kletzky was found in the home in 2011. Sources tell Eyewitness News, the deceased is the brother of Levi Aron who is serving 40 years-to-life for kidnapping and killing Kletzky.

Police responding to a call from the family on Friday discovered the body of Tzvi Aron, bound, wrapped in a blanket and stuffed in a basement closet, a law enforcement official said. "Everyone keeps an eye on that house for obvious reasons". The body has now been removed from the home and transported to the medical examiner's office.

Kletzky had gotten lost after leaving a camp in Borough Park to meet his mother, and he asked Levi for help.

The court-ordered evaluation of Aron found him fit to stand trial on murder charges in the death of Kletzky. After the child was dead Aron dismembered him and put most of the boy's remains inside a suitcase that was later discovered in a dumpster about a mile from his Brooklyn home.

He made a decision to drug Lieby Kletzky and then smother him with a towel. Thousands of volunteers from the Hasidic community had assembled to comb the streets.

About 33 hours later, detectives found the boy's severed feet, wrapped in plastic, in Aron's freezer.

Tzvi lived in the basement apartment, while Levi had lived on the top floor. The examination report also noted Aron's sister died while undergoing treatment at a psychiatric institution for schizophrenia.

"It was spooky", neighbor Kathleen Henderson told the Daily News of NY.
