Nadal reached a 10th final at his favorite tournament - he's 9-0 so far - by overwhelming No. 6 Dominic Thiem of Austria 6-3, 6-4, 6-0 in barely 2 hours.

Nine-time champion Rafael Nadal is facing sixth-seeded Dominic Thiem, the only man to beat the Spaniard on clay this season.

The fifth set was an anti-climax as Wawrinka raced to a 5-0 lead. Wawrinka smashed 87 winners, mostly off his forehand to start with before the backhand joined the party in the second set.

Wawrinka was again off the blocks first in the second set as he again broke Murray's serve in the seventh game. If you have three illnesses and an injury which take you out for some time, it's very hard mentally for the player.
