Chelsea's Antonio Conte has taken a swipe at his Manchester United and Manchester City counterparts. To do so would give Tottenham fresh hope of catching them.

Asked if the title would be his best achievement, Conte said: "Yes, for sure". "Now, to win the title in England is a great achievement".

Both Manchester clubs have each splashed in the region of £150m on new players this season.

"To do it in England these days is not easy".

Buoyant Chelsea extended their Premier League lead to seven points on Tuesday, as goals from Eden Hazard, captain Gary Cahill and two from a buzzing Diego Costa earned them a 4-2 win over Southampton.

"I just want to finish the season well and we will see afterwards". It will remain a good season. To become a great or fantastic season there is only one way: "to try and win". "This is a crucial week for us".

Conte, 47, spent around £135million during his first summer at the club by bringing in the likes of N'Golo Kante and David Luiz.

The CRPF personnel had split into two groups. "Shri Ahir is going to Chhattisgarh to take stock of the situation", he tweeted. In March, 12 officers died in a suspected Maoist attack on another convoy in the same district.

"Otherwise, in this League, this season the name of the team wasn't Chelsea or Tottenham or Arsenal or Liverpool".

"Like every year", added Conte. You've seen the past. If you have to spend money, try and spend that money in the right way to take players with the right characteristics for your idea of football.

Chelsea have won four championships since owner Roman Abramovich bought the club in 2003 and have relied on the Russian multi-billioniare's wealth in the transfer market to secure supremacy.

While Lloris acknowledged Chelsea now have renewed confidence they can hold off Tottenham's challenge in the final six games of the season, the France goalkeeper is convinced his club won't surrender without a fight. Look at the past.

"It's a great achievement for us but if you ask me if this win over Spurs means more - I don't think so".

Chelsea are expected to pursue significant squad reinforcements as they prepare for a return to the Champions League next season, but Conte indicated that the Blues will spend only what they need to in order to address their weaknesses.
