Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has branded Russian Federation a "super villain" in Syria as he told Moscow it still has time to be on the "right side of the argument" in the conflict.
The Foreign Secretary called on Russian Federation to change course in Syria, asking if the country wanted to be part of a "league of super villains". They still have innumerable rebel groups to subdue, and they find themselves in a league of super villains with Hizbollah and Assad.
In his cable, President Putin stressed the continued stance of his country in support of the peaceful settlement to the crisis in Syria through the comprehensive national dialogue which aims at stopping the bloodshed and uniting all the Syrians in combating the global forces of terrorism and extremism.
Now, Johnson has said: "Assad uses chemical weapons because they are not only awful and indiscriminate. They are also terrifying", Johnson wrote. "At the right time everyone will come to their senses & there will be lasting peace!"
