Trump visit to Wisconsin comes amid low approval ratings

President Donald Trump is making a trip to Wisconsin on Tuesday, his first time back in the Badger State since taking office.

In a new statement to our newsroom, Snap-on says President Trump's visit will highlight how essential manufacturing is to the country's future and say it's an honor to be recognized by the President of the United States.

President Trump is scheduled to visit Kenosha tomorrow to see the Snap-on tool manufacturer's headquarters.

Snap-on is based in Wisconsin but operates around the world.

The only silver lining, Fox News notes, would be that China voted for abstention because it is a "win" for US diplomacy. Unlike he has done with previous secretaries of state, Putin didn't keep Tillerson waiting for hours on Wednesday.

Snap-on's headquarters are in Kenosha but its nearest manufacturing facility is in Milwaukee, about 40 miles north. Trump campaigned on the promise of returning manufacturing jobs that have been lost in Wisconsin and other similar upper Midwest states. She says, "We are going to hold him accountable to the promises he made".

The President will speak at Snap-on, Inc.

Walker said he also hope to meet privately with the president to discuss an ongoing trade dispute with Canada, which has costs dozens of Wisconsin dairy farmers contracts to sell the milk they produce and could force many out of business.
