Another home game, another glut of goals and another victory to savour as Leicester's irresistible force foundered on the immovable object that is Everton at Goodison Park this afternoon who completed the double over the soon-to-be deposed Champions.

But the reigning champions stormed back to lead after just 10 minutes courtesy of goals from Islam Slimani and Marc Albrighton.

The home side probed and eventually got their equaliser when Ross Barkley's cross from the right was headed home emphatically by Romelu Lukaku.

Midway through however, Everton made sure of the points as from a corner, the ball made its way through to an unmarked Lukaku who smashed home his 23rd goal of the season.

"We want to fight against Manchester United and Arsenal".

"Of course we talk a lot about Ross and Rom because they are really important.they can be the difference between us and the opponents, like today".

Leicester could never come back after that which means they are 11th in the table with a top 10 finish still clearly in sight. It was a really good team performance.

The suspects were in and out of the gun store within 30 seconds, indicating that this was a planned event. "We don't know that". As the driver backs out, three men wearing hoodies and masks dash in.

Leicester introduced Riyad Mahrez, Ahmed Musa and Leonardo Ulloa from the bench but failed to test Joel in the second half until the keeper parried the Argentine's header in the closing minutes, with the Atletico match and the next chapter of the Foxes' remarkable story now awaiting them.

"First of all with the result and then with the way we played, I thought we played some really good football in the first 45 minutes".

"We will try [to keep them] but the final decision is always by the player", he said to Sky Sports.

The Toffees came into the game in great form on home soil of late, while Leicester were looking for a seventh straight win in all competitions since Craig Shakespeare was installed as Claudio Ranieri's successor until the end of the season.

Everton's Romelu Lukaku, right, scores his side's fourth goal of the game against Leicester City during their English Premier League soccer match at Goodison Park in Liverpool, England, Sunday April 9, 2017.

"I believe we should be more competitive in there, we must ensure we get an arm across and remain with runners".

"They will have a picture of that belief and the direction we will go in - that is very clear to everybody". Between Pennington's inexperience and Jagielka's decline, this game could've been much worse had Everton not controlled the ball for much of the game.
