Buerki told Swiss daily Blick on Tuesday night that "there was a huge bang, literally an explosion" that sent glass flying about. "The bus turned to the main street, when there was a giant explosion", Burki told the German newspaper. The team earlier identified Bartra as the only player injured.
"Marc Bartra, I hope you recover soon and that you can play tomorrow", tweeted Martinez. Fans remained calm after an announcement said that the situation was "safe" and there was "no reason to panic". "We are all shocked, and nobody thought about a football match during those minutes".
