President George H.W. Bush has apologised to an actress who accused him of "sexually assaulting" her during a photo opportunity with his wife Barbara Bush standing by his side.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Lind, 34, reportedly accused Bush, 93, of groping her in 2014 in during a Houston screening for the AMC series Turn: Washington's Spies.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, Heather Lind described her 'disturbing" encounter with Bush Sr - and now Jordana Grolnick has followed suit, revealing that her experience was "entirely similar' to Ms Lind's.
The statement, according to Mail Online, did not specifically address the physical assault allegations. The former president also tells the same joke to put photo subjects at ease because his arm "falls on the lower waist of people", one of the statements said.
She included that a close-by security personnel informed Lind that she "should not have stood alongside him for the picture". "Some have seen it as innocent; others clearly view it as inappropriate", McGrath wrote.
In the wake of the historic Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse busts, thousands of new victims of sexual assault are speaking out against their perpetrators.

It has not been positively identified, but police believe it could be that of the Mathews' adopted daughter, 3-year-old Sherin. Television station WFAA reported that a vigil was held for Sherin at the spot where her body was found on Sunday.
Lind wrote that the alleged incident occurred four years before. "And then, all the while being photographed, touched me again", she added.
Lind said the former first lady "rolled her eyes as if to say, 'not again'".
Heather Lind, who starred in the AMC series "Turn: Washington's Spies", had alleged that the former U.S. president sexually assaulted her when they posed for a photograph several years ago. It seems to me a President's power is in his or her capacity to enact positive change, actually help people, and serve as a symbol of our democracy. I can enact positive change.
"What comforts me is that I too can use my power, which isn't so different from a president really", she said. I can be a symbol of my democracy.
She also mentioned that her AMC castmates learned about the supposed attack since she informed them, which she chose ahead now due to "the fearlessness of various other females that have spoken out and also discussed their experiences".
However, Lind thanked President Barack Obama for the gesture of respect he made toward George H.W. Bush for the sake of the country, but mentioned that she does not respect him. "I could elect for a President, in the component, by the nature of his or her personality, recognizing that his or her political choices should always stem from that personality".
