Sony Entertainment television & Kapil Sharma's show partnership gets renewed

The show is likely to undergo major changes and come back to fight the TRP race again. Raaj has earlier worked on comedy shows with both Kapil and Krushna Abhishek but had quit TV for films since the past two-and-a-half years. Probably this is the reason that Sony TV channel and the makers are now planning to renew its contract for yet another year and give the show a complete new look. After the exit of Grover and Ali Asgar, "The Kapil Sharma Show" witnessed a drop in its ratings. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror he talks about how it all came to be - "I have worked with Kapil in the past so I chose to go for it", says Shaandilyaa, implying that he had been asked to come board to bring back the gags that had gone missing.

Ever since Sunil Grover left Kapil Sharma post mid-air brawl, the former has been facing a tough time in keeping up the TRP rating of his show The Kapil Sharma Show.

Kapil Sharma Show To Go Off Air? The other larger concern is Kapil Sharma's health. Moreover, the channel has shown trust on Kapil and is proven that he is one of the best comedians on the television.

Meanwhile, Kapil's girlfriend Ginni Chattrath too has been missing Sunil Grover on the show.

Not Cena though, the WWE's Superman took the Kinshasa (Nakamura's finisher) and put the Japanese superstar over. The company announced that show last week during a show at Joe Louis Arena.

Since from last few episodes, Kapil Sharma was not well and things were getting worse for the comedian turned actor.

The source added: "He spends close to six hours recording for The Kapil Sharma Show and then tries to shoot for his film, Firang. It is a dead weight", said the source.

We wonder if the team will have new characters and how will the format be. What about competition from Krushna's show?

There are reports that TDC will be shifted to 10 pm slot as Super Dancer will be launched. New shows Kaun Banega Crorepati 9, Porus, and a romantic thriller starring Namik Paul, Donal Bisht and Vikram Singh Chauhan are in pipeline.
