Scaramucci then called in to CNN today for a free-wheeling soliloquy, during which he informed anchor Chris Cuomo, apropos of nothing: "You're from New York, I'm from New York, the president is from New York".
"I have not been informed of any decision", Short told Politico. "And I'm not real fond of people who try to show off the strength of their egos by using the profanity and vulgar language that Mr. Scaramucci used to describe Steve Bannon and Reince Priebus".
"I would just from that one interview but keep in mind I'm from Alabama", Brooks said. "I'm more of a front-stabbing person".

"In all fairness to Anthony Scaramucci", Trump wrote, "he wanted to endorse me 1st, before the Republican Primaries started, but didn't think I was running!" "I will refrain in this arena but not give up the passionate fight for @realDonaldTrump's agenda".
Resentful of his poor media coverage and low polling and infuriated by the endless leaking from executive staff, Trump appointed Scaramucci as his head of communications earlier this month, in part to undermine Priebus.
When he joined the administration late last week, Scaramucci pushed back on reports of any discord inside the West Wing, especially about the reports of a tense relationship with Priebus.

Priebus ally Sean Spicer, who was pulling double duty as communications director and press secretary, quit when Scaramucci was named to the job.
Priebus did not respond to reporters' shouted questions though he later released a statement saying it was "one of the greatest honors of my life" to serve as chief of staff.
But Scaramucci, in a tweet Wednesday night, seemed to imply Priebus had leaked the form to make him look bad, or knew who did, and called for an FBI investigation. Scaramucci later deleted that tweet and said he had only mentioned Priebus to show that all senior leaders are taking leaks seriously.
Scaramucci said: "If you've read Team of Rivals, it took Lincoln three or four times to get what he wanted from the Senate and the House of Representatives, which was the full abolition of slavery - that was a much tougher thing to get done than what we're working on right now". Gerstman has done projects for the Trump Organization and is a neighbor and longtime friend of Scaramucci's.

But another rule of thumb in Trump's inner circle is that it's never wise to outshine the president. Jared Kushner says he didn't collude.
A moderate House Republican said Trump let down the Obamacare rollback effort by not going out and selling a plan.
