In an explosive interview with the New Yorker, Anthony Scaramucci - the new White House communications director - launched a scathing attack on the former film producer.
What Scaramucci had to say about his White House colleagues was way beyond colorful, way behind "inappropriate", and all the way into territory that - even in this freaky moment in history - had the power to shock.
"The communications director at the White House called me and we conducted an interview without setting any ground rules at the top", Lizza told "New Day" anchor Chris Cuomo, who'd also received a call from Scaramucci on Thursday morning.
This is a developing story.
Scaramucci told Lizza that he wanted to "kill all the leakers and I want to get the President's agenda on track so we can succeed for the American people".
Oh man. It turns out I missed something hilarious yesterday.
"This is actually a awful thing", he told reporters outside the White House.
"Amid a stream of vulgar language, the former Wall Street financier named to the communications post last Friday called Priebus a "(expletive) paranoid schizophrenic" and accused Bannon of trying to build his own brand "off the (expletive) strength of the president".
He ended the call by saying: "Yeah, let me go, though, because I've gotta start tweeting some s.to make this guy (Priebus) insane".

He was arrested after wiring $283,000 from the Congressional Federal Credit Union to Pakistan, The Daily Caller reported . He was arrested on bank fraud charges for engaging in a "scheme to defraud a Congressional Federal Credit Union".
"So if Reince wants to explain that he's not a leaker, let him do that", he said.
He had a freakish 24 hours even before the New Yorker published its account of the interview on Thursday afternoon.
Sure enough, within a week, Scaramucci threatened to "fire everybody" to stop White House leaks, coincidentally on the heels of rumors that Attorney General Jeff Sessions-the first senator to endorse Trump-would be axed by Trump next.
The drama was the latest sign of disarray within the Trump White House even as it tries to advance healthcare and tax reform legislation.
Julie Bykowicz and Jonathan Lemire of The Associated Press wrote that Scaramucci was "exposing West Wing backstabbing in language more suitable to a mobster movie than a seat of presidential stability".
Earlier in the day, Sanders would not say whether Trump had confidence in Priebus.
The difference now, he said, is that Trump has created a faction-driven White House, noting: "I just think he has too many independent power centers and not enough team players".
Later in the evening, Scaramucci tweeted again, making it clear he never intended his comments to become public, blaming Lizza for what he considered to be a breach of trust and suggesting a less transparent relationship with the media going forward. Some brothers are like Cain and Abel, other brothers can fight with each other and then get along.
"In my experience, he's of the belief that sometimes a little friction in the ranks is how you surface the best ideas", Gerstman said of Trump. I don't know if this is repairable or not.
