Samsung Galaxy Note 8: A little different from the S8

More importantly, the S9 is expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor - a feature that Samsung had previously tried to bring to the impending Note 8 device and even this year's S8 smartphones, but abandoned due to technical difficulties.

As we previously heard, the Galaxy S8 Active does indeed have a 4,000mAh battery, which should help it last longer than the regular S8, although the slides don't indicate how long it should last in regular use. Prior to this, a recent leak has thrown light on detailed specsheet of the device along with press renders. The shatter-resistant Super AMOLED panel is expected to measure 5.8-inch and feature a resolution of 2960 x 1440p. In addition to this military-grade certification, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will also keep the same IP68 dust and waterproof feature that is already available on the standard S8. Also, the device will have MIL-STD 810G standard protection and polymer bumpers on all four corners.

As usual, Samsung Galaxy S8 Active will be an AT&T exclusive, meaning you have to be in the US and ready to use the carrier's services in order to get your hands on this phone.

Rumors are also claiming that the handset will come in three color options including Black, Gray, and Blue. So if you went with a Galaxy S8, you'll get a $750 card. The images related to the Galaxy S8 Active device were first seen in the Wireless Power Consortium during the month of May. The chip is a Snapdragon 835 and the smartphone has a 12MP main camera and 8MP front. On the software side of things, Samsung also equipped the device with the Bixby voice assistant, as well as Android 7.0 Nougat straight out of the box. The Samsung S Active series has always been known to be chunkier and bulkier and that formula is applied here as well.
