Just when it looked like that the Indian cricket board would toe the line marked out by the Lodha Committee, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), with none other than former president N Srinivasan in the thick of things, made it clear that the reforms would not be accepted to be implemented forthwith.
Former BCCI president N Srinivasan (72) and the Board's ex-secretary Niranjan Shah (73), who are ineligible to be cricket administrators, were present during CoA's meeting with Tamil Nadu Cricket Association and Saurashtra CA respectively. The 165-minute long meeting saw the Indian cricket board coming up with the decision to form a committee that would ensure how "best and quickly" the principal Supreme Court order can be executed. "There was no voting and it (panel) was unanimously constituted", he declared.
The SC-apppointed Committee of Administrators (CoA) got into action a couple of days before the SGM, meeting the state association representatives.
"A notice for a meeting is a notice and it says all member units of the BCCI are invited to attend".
On some of the other issues like bilateral engagement with Pakistan, Chaudhary reiterated the BCCI's stance that it can only play the arch-rivals if permitted by the government.
When asked what was discussed in the meeting about the "one state, one vote" ruling, Choudhary said that he can't divulge any details about the same. "They put their points across and we (CoA) put ours".

The Gunners ended last season with their manager, Arsene Wenger , signing a new two-year deal: the love-hate affair continues. Last season Tottenham played four times away from home after appearing in Europe, therefore only twice at White Hart Lane.
Speaking about the role of the committee, Choudhary said, "The committee will go into each and every point necessitated by the principal judgment and then only those exceptional and limited areas of difficulty would bring it to the notice of the CoA who will thereafter decide the course of action".
On other ICC related matters, including the diminished revenue of United States dollars 405 million to be received from the world body, he said "factual reporting was made to the general body and the general body was satisfied".
Meanwhile, the BCCI is willing to consider taking Rajasthan Cricket Association back in its fold if the litigations filed against the BCCI are withdrawn.
"The house felt to inform them to first answer the show cause notice".
The former IPS officer also informed that the newly-constructed stadium in Guwahati will soon be hosting global matches.
According to another attendee, the BCCI hierarchy, including acting-secretary Amitabh Chaudhary and CEO Rahul Johri, appeared to have been taken aback by Scindia's onslaught and asked Adarsh Saxena, the lawyer representing Cyril Amarachand Mangaldas, the firm representing CoA, to respond.
