The news comes as the Justice Department continues its investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election and the Trump administration's potential ties to Russia.
Kushner, who is both the President's son-in-law and Senior Advisor to the President, reportedly approached Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Kislyak in early December, before he was made a White House employee, requesting to establish a backchannel to Moscow to avoid the eyes and ears of USA intelligence services. Both Senate and House Intelligence Committee investigators are reportedly considering whether 666 Fifth Avenue's weak financial position made Kushner more vulnerable to Russian interests.
"We do not know what this report refers to", Kushner's attorney Jamie Gorelick told The Post in an email.
Special counsel Robert Mueller has brought 13 lawyers on board for his investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 election. Gorelick pointed out that Kushner has volunteered to speak with the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is leading one of the congressional Russian Federation investigations.
Mueller's inquiry includes Kushner among other Trump's associates - former campaign chairman Paul Manafort and a campaign policy adviser Carter Page, The Washington Post claimed citing unnamed sources on Thursday.
Vnesheconombank says that Gorkov's meeting with Kushner was to discuss real estate business, of which the president's son-in-law was the head.
Billionaire Moshiri to spearhead Everton’s Italian job
Indeed, it is only by virtue of Falcinelli’s prowess in the final third that Crotone still remains in contention to survive. In Romelu Lukaku, Koeman has a player with the capability of firing Everton to far headier heights than seventh place.
Vice President Mike Pence on Thursday hired his own lawyer to represent him in the special counsel's Russian Federation investigation. A Reuters report said the meeting could have concerned lifting United States sanctions against Russian Federation. Recent news reports have suggested Trump sought all three officials' help in pressuring FBI Director James Comey to drop his investigation into former National Security Adviser Mike Flynn.
Mueller is also investigating Trump for obstruction of justice, the Post reported Wednesday. Comey did not name the dissenter, but The Washington Post has learned it was FBI General Counsel James Baker.
He is already at the center of the investigation into whether Trump officials colluded with Russian Federation to sway the outcome of the presidential election. Rosenzweig described him on the Lawfare blog as "quite possibly the best criminal appellate lawyer in America" and said he represented even worse news for Trump last week than Comey's damning testimony. A spokesman, Peter Carr said there are plans to hire more.
Attorney Jay Sekulow is stressing that "the president has not been and is not under investigation".
Kushner is President Donald Trump's son-in-law and a government official. Coats told associates that Trump asked him whether he could intervene with Comey to get the Federal Bureau of Investigation to back off its focus on Flynn, the officials said.
