Persistent cloud cover, scattered showers and thunderstorms will dominate Father's Day weekend, says the National Weather Service. A slight cool down returns for early next week, with temperatures generally in the low to mid 80s through next week. Giving it a 30 percent chance. Up to a half-inch of rain is possible.
Sunday night will be uncomfortable with moderate to high humidity and temperatures dropping no lower than 70 degrees in spots.
Saturday: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon.
Friday.Mostly cloudy. Small rain chance in afternoon/evening.
The low Saturday night is forecast at 18 C.
Expect a warm and muggy start to the weekend with afternoon showers and storms. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon.
Temperatures continue to climb on Father's Day with highs in the upper-80s and low-90s.
