Managers are now pressing ahead with their plans for the summer transfer window so we'll bring you all the latest news and gossip from around the globe.
Tottenham have slapped a £50m price tag on midfielder Eric Dier in an effort to keep him at the club.
Dier was warned by Pochettino in March that it was Spurs who had taken his career to another level and "provided all the tools to be a Premier League player".
The idea is that the 23-year-old is supposed to be the long-term successor to Michael Carrick, whose playing days are coming to a close.
The former Sporting Lisbon man is considered a priority by Jose Mourinho, the Telegraph claim (via the Mirror).
Sessions To Testify In Front Of Senate Intel Committee Tuesday
The next day, Comey said, he implored Sessions never to leave him alone again with the president, but Sessions did not reply. The Senate panel is investigating allegations of Russian meddling in the 2016 USA presidential election.
The Telegraph is reporting that Jose Mourinho sees the England global as the long-term replacement for Michael Carrick, who himself made the journey from White Hart Lane to Old Trafford in 2006.
However, it looks as though United are going to have to be prepared to dig deep as the newspaper says that Tottenham have informed the Reds they are ready to do business over a deal for Dier but only if their £50m asking price is met. He can also play at centre-back but it is in midfield that Mourinho sees him in the long term.
Manchester United are still interested in Eric Dier but have been told by Tottenham Hotspur to pay £50m to land his signature, according to a report.
Dier signed a £70,000-a-week contract with Spurs last September, but the opportunity to treble his wages elsewhere might be too good an opportunity to miss.
