Mumbai: After much speculation and conjectures, Arunabh Kumar has finally stepped down as the CEO of popular internal comedy channel, The Viral Fever. However, what really "broke" him, he wrote, was the "blemish on the brand's (TVF's) true promise", prompting him to step down as CEO.
And while Arunabh Kumar hastily made official statements about the situation, it suddenly spiraled out of hand and these women filed complaints against his misdemeanor with the Mumbai police.
TVF, known for its satirical takes on Indian politics, movies, lifestyle and the social system, on Friday announced the appointment of Dhawal Gusain as the company's new CEO.
Earlier, the TVF Founder was accused of workplace sexual harassment by an anonymous blog posted by Indian Fowler, which landed him in the centre of a controversy.

He was arrested and was released on bail after he recorded his statement.
Meanwhile, Arunabh will continue to work with the content team as a mentor. Gusain has been with TVF since 2015, when he appointed as the COO. Following the original post, several other women came out in support of the blog, raising further allegations against Kumar. The victim, a former TVF employee, had filed a first information report against Kumar at the MIDC police station in Andheri (East), alleging sexual harassment and attempts to outrage her modesty.
Dhawal Gusain, the current COO of the company, has replaced Kumar as the new CEO. We will leave no stone unturned to find the authors of the article and bring them to severe justice for making such false allegations.
Here is Arunabh's open letter and his declaration of leaving the post as the CEO of TVF. See!
