The most recent game Spider-Man starred in before Spider-Man PS4 was the mobile game Spider-Man: Unlimited with the lead role voiced by Yuri Lowenthal.

The PS4 has not only surpassed the 60-million mark, but Sony also revealed that its console owners have also purchased 487.8 million retail and digital copies. The game will be available in 2018.

But, the title that stood out to me personally is the Spider-Man game developed by Insomniac exclusively for the PlayStation 4.

There's nothing new here other than that Sony is dipping back into their old treasure trove of great IP that came out during the PS2 era in order to sell people old popular games with a new coat of paint.

One of the most unexpected things that appeared at Sony's E3 press conference over the weekend was that a Shadow of the Colossus remake was in production, and would be releasing sometime next year.

Sony's showcase for the PlayStation at this year's E3 gaming conference was all about the platform's blockbuster games. That is around double the number of estimated Xbox One console sales.

Stonewalling Sessions Runs Away From Tough Questions in Senate Inquiry
Sessions added that since his recusal, "I have no knowledge about this investigation" beyond media reports. And that boss, Jeff Sessions, also promised Tuesday not to get involved in any firing.

The event started with an extended trailer for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and ended with an fantastic look at Insomniac's Spider-Man game, which is coming in "early 2018".

Sony is also getting on the VR (Virtual Reality) bandwagon, showing plans for their brand new PSVR with an interesting Zelda style game called Moss, which is about the adventures of a mouse.

The initial trailer was shown at last year's E3, but not much had been heard from the game until now.

Sony released a new trailer for Knack 2, which is set to release on 5 September 2017. The game has Wilson Fisk, popularised by Netflix's Daredevil as a minor villain, the ability to play stealthily as well as hands-on and insane stunts such as the helicopter balancing one seen in the trailer.

House vows to further expand the PlayStation 4 ecosystem through the PlayStation VR.
