In a surprise visit to King's College Hospital in London, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, met with victims of the London Bridge attack and their caretakers.
The Kensington Palace Twitter account posted updates of who she was meeting and showed images of the "incredible doctors, nurses and support staff" she met.
A group of British Muslims gave 3,000 roses to people on London Bridge on Sunday in a demonstration of solidarity following the van and knife rampage that left eight people dead and dozens injured, reported Press Association.
Of the 48 admitted to hospital, 29 were still being cared for, NHS England said on Wednesday.
"Although there has been an increase, to put it in perspective it's a small handful each day in our boroughs, maybe three or four per day in each borough now - and each borough is a size of a very large city", said Commissioner Cressida Dick.

Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall visited the patients earlier this month.
"We won't let London Bridge fall down nor any bridge upon which the communities of this great city and nation are built".
