"We are going into these talks with the national interest at heart".
"We are now a government in waiting and we must think and act at all times with that in mind", said Corbyn.
Nevertheless, the party still ended up with 56 fewer seats than the Conservatives, who are seeking to form a minority government with the Democratic Unionists.
