Qatar's neighbors cut ties with the country over accusations that it sponsors Islamic extremism, which Qatar denies.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani said Monday that Qatar is in contact with global aviation authorities and legal organizations as it tries to fight back against moves by Saudi Arabia and its allies to cut off its land, air and sea access. "I think it is about an orchestrated campaign against my country to pressure my country to change its active, independent foreign policy", he said.
"This policy of domination and control is not going to work", Qahtani stressed.
Qatar can easily defend its economy and currency against sanctions by other Arab states, Qatari finance minister Ali Sherif al Emadi told CNBC television on Monday.
The Foreign Office had denied knowledge of any such visit and has also recently denied foreign media reports of 20,000 Pakistani troops being deployed in Qatar.

"Our reserves and investment funds are more than 250 percent of gross domestic product, so I don't think there is any reason that people need to be concerned about what's happening or any speculation on the Qatari riyal". "And for us that means jobs and, frankly, great security back here, which we want".
