Champions! The Golden State Warriors have taken the NBA title with a 129-120 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

The game-changing spurt ended with a scuffle when Golden State's David West shoved Irving as he tried to grab the ball away.

Cleveland won games six and seven to cap the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history and dethrone the Warriors.

The NBA Finals are over. He had 10 points, 12 rebounds and five assists in the clincher.

A win would allow the Warriors to celebrate on their home floor after clinching the 2015 title in Cleveland.

Irving scored 40 points in the Game 5 win at Golden State a year ago, hit the tiebreaking 3-pointer in the final minute of Game 7 and scored 40 more on Friday, raising his average in those elimination games to 32.5 points per game. But the Warriors bench had been the difference through three quarters.

The bottom line is that Cleveland has gotten these Finals to 3-1, a familiar situation that must give them a little comfort. Cleveland's bench has just four points. He was named Most Valuable Player for the 2013-14 season after setting career highs of 32 points and 5.5 assists per game.

LeBron James and Kyrie Irving were their usual brilliant selves.

At one point, it was announced that Green had been given his second technical foul, and security came onto the floor to usher the volatile forward to the locker room. Now Kevin Durant, Steph Curry and the Warriors have found the range.

Qatar says backs Kuwait mediation efforts over rift with Arab states
The airline CEO said he did not expect Qatar to be treated in this way by a country "so dependent on its fight against terrorism". They have accused Doha of backing terrorist groups and close ties with Iran, something the minister denied categorically.

Meanwhile, Durant (2 of 9) and Stephen Curry (2 of 9) struggled for Golden State at the other end.

Durant hit two deep 3s and Andre Iguodala threw down a soaring, one-handed dunk that sparked an increasingly nervous Oracle Arena crowd. The first player Durant embraced following the victory was James, who gave a valiant effort himself and was matched up with Durant for most of the series. As of Monday morning, the over/under is set at 230.5 points.

Cleveland is by far the best team in the East and as long as LeBron stays healthy they are a contender.

The Cavs were shaky early, but got back into it with their defense.

The Cleveland Cavaliers face the Warriors Monday night to determine if the series continues or not. Everyone is about to find out how good. They are up 3-1 in the best-of-seven series - again.

"We love how aggressive Kyrie's been, and it's been great for our team, obviously, with his individual ability to make shots and to take big shots and to knock them down", James said.

The $133,000 set a record as the most expensive seats in National Basketball Association history.

Seem that the Warriors weren't hurt too badly by that Game 4 loss in Cleveland.
