Zlatan Ibrahimovic will continue to be based at Manchester United's Carrington training ground while he recovers from injury despite the club's decision to not award him a new contract.
The Red Devils opted against giving the 35-year-old forward a new contract after he was ruled out until the new year following surgery.
The Swede, despite his exit, plans to continue his recovery from his injury at United' Carrington training headquarters.
He's also quite the man if the latest reports are to be believed, with claims it was actually the player and not Manchester United who decided he would not sign a new deal with the club.
Assuming he makes a full recovery, it's suggested that United could then offer him a short-term deal to remain at Old Trafford - possibly until the end of next season.

Mr Sergei Lavrov, Russia's Foreign Minister, discussed Qatar with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in a phone call on Saturday.
The club are keen to look after Ibrahimovic and have been doing so both on site and from afar since his injury in the Europa League quarter-final second leg against Anderlecht.
It's likely that January 2018 will be the earliest possible date for his return to action.
"I will go through this like everything else and come back even stronger".
Ibrahimovic joined United on a one-year deal, with the option of a second season.
