Lewis Hamilton eased to his sixth career victory at the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday (11 June).

"It's been a tricky beginning of the season, we've known that we're capable of doing it but there's just been so much stuff in the way of being able to just get points".

SENNA HELMET: After qualifying, Hamilton was presented with one of Senna's race-worn helmets - a gesture from the Brazilian driver's family that left him moved and momentarily stunned.
Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull Racing finished third.
Max Verstappen surged from fifth to second, clipping Vettel's front wing on his way past before Felipe Massa was taken out by a spinning Carlos Sainz after the Toro Rosso driver had lost control following contact with Romain Grosjean's Haas vehicle in the approach to Turn 3.
The incident capped a manic first lap in which Romain Grosjean's tangle with Carlos Sainz sent the Spaniard into an uncontrollable, and high-speed spin, which resulted in him swiping out Felipe Massa. That brought out the Safety Car, which lasted for six laps. Hopefully he can do it, and shut all of us armchair experts up for good! Magnussen collected a five-second penalty for passing Vandoorne while the virtual safety auto was deployed.

Kevin Kline won his third for his performance in the revival of " Present Laughter ". Spacey, dressed as Close, sang "I'm coming out." and then paused, tantalizingly.
Hamilton made the most of the re-start and resisted another Verstappen attack before Vettel, his front wing clearly damaged, pitted for repairs.
There are likely to be no shortage of heated recriminations in the Force India garage, with the pacier Ocon, who eventually finished behind Perez in sixth, furious that the team did not swap the duo around as he targeted a podium place.
Verstappen quickly applied pressure to Hamilton after the restart, but saw his hopes of a podium finish dashed by a battery issue in the hybrid system of his RB13.
With two laps to go, Vettel, a man inspired, passed Perez at the final chicane to snatch fourth.
Ricciardo then had enough of a gap to hold off the faster Ferrari, after spending his final 15 laps fending off challenged from Perez.
Daniil Kvyat was the other retirement, which compounded a hard weekend for the Toro Rosso team.
Vettel said: "I wanted to get a trophy, didn't get one".
By lap 11 the Dutchman was throwing his hands in the air in frustration as his vehicle suffered battery failure - his third retirement in the last five races.
