Her domestic cume now stands at $115M.

I was hopeful "Wonder Woman" would be a welcome addition to the worthy world of superhero movies.

It would only make sense that Jenkins wouldn't be onboard right away to direct the sequel since there was no way of making sure beforehand that Wonder Woman was going to do this well in the box office.

Movies & More reviewer John Gillispie shares his thoughts on "Wonder Woman", which is rated PG-13 and now playing in theaters.

"There's something iconic about. the story of Wonder Woman that's hitting the zeitgeist perfectly. Thank you all, I love you all so much".

Anger fuels Cavs to force Game 5
Following a would be game 5 loss in Oracle, the Warriors would find a game 6 in Cleveland that would be almost impossible to win. LeBron James and Kyrie Irving combined to score over 60 points in their first win in the 2016 Finals, just like this year.

To celebrate the successful release of Wonder Woman this month, Warner Bros. and DC have revealed a new store where you can buy lots of cool merchandise from the movie itself. The film featuring Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Patty Jenkins as the director has already received a huge response from the audience.

Before she directed Wonder Woman, Jenkins was the director of Monster, a film that gave Charlize Theron an Oscar for Best Actress.

In March 2017, director Patty Jenkins told EW, "The story will take place in the USA, which I think is right". Not only that, but the film's star, Gal Gadot, feels like the hero we needed in our everyday lives. "I was like 'I need her to see some brutality, '" Jenkins told The Hollywood Reporter.

Also, I hope we get to see Gadot's versatility in other films since Wonder Woman will obviously open up the door for her to pursue almost any project she wishes. Others felt that there was no way a female lead would be able to carry said project and, thus, questioned whether or not a movie like Wonder Woman would simply flounder at the box office.

It is not uncommon for major movie franchises to hire a different director for individual films, though the superhero genre can find their helmers irreplaceable - like James Gunn, who pilots the $1.5 billion "Guardians of the Galaxy" franchise.
