Ms. Stevens, who runs Little Diamonds Nursery in Hermon Hill, said the woman was slashed while on her way to work from Wanstead High Street.
A female nursery worker has been stabbed three times in London by women who allegedly shouted "Allah will get you".
The police confirmed that at 9:36 am received a call for the incident and found the victim with a notch.
She was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
"The three suspects fled the scene before police officers arrived and they are still not accounted for".
The trio dragged the unidentified Caucasian woman in her 30s to the ground in the suburban neighborhood of Wanstead and slashed her in the arm, the Daily Star reported.
A spokesman for the London Ambulance service said: "We were called at 9:43 am to reports of an incident on Hermon Hill".

She's now warned people not to wear headphones while boarding trains, and to use the foot overbridge to cross the tracks. The girl was thrown in the middle of the track by the impact as the train moved over her body.
Counter-terrorism police are aware of the attack but are not treating it as a terrorist incident.
"Obviously it's a shock, she's in shock".
Stevens said that her colleague did not know her attackers and that she was left shaken by the ordeal.
"I instantly, after what has been happening regarding terrorists, thought the worst and informed her I will drive up to collect them", Mr Ashmore said.

Three attackers plowed a van into a crowd of people on London Bridge before going on a knife rampage in nearby Borough Market.
