During Thursday night's heated Game 3 between the Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards, Kelly Oubre was ejected after physically going after Kelly Olynyk in the second quarter.
The NBA on Saturday announced Oubre's suspension without pay for "charging and making forceful and unwarranted contact".
Green, who regularly co-hosts a podcast with sports columnist Marcus Thompson II called "Uninterrupted", labeled Olynyk a "dirty player" in an episode released on Monday. Oubre charged Olynyk and knocked him to the floor with a forearm to the chest.
"I don't know how he can call anybody dirty", Thomas said according to ESPN.
"I don't know why he reacted like that, especially to Kelly", Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas said.

The core of the Paris deal was an agreement between Chinese President Xi Jinping and then U.S. president Barack Obama . Ivanka Trump was originally due to meet with Pruitt privately Tuesday ahead of the larger meeting on top aides.
Meanwhile, cynics chuckled at Green - who was suspended in last year's NBA Finals, and occasionally moves his legs in kicking-style motions - becoming an advocate of clean play. "Coaches put scoring players in position to be successful, and that's why you've got to have your teammates help you out and it be a five-man effort instead of a one-man effort". Bogdanovic has had a odd series thus far, as he opened the series with 10 points in 19 minutes during Game 1, but then earned only eight minutes of playing time during Game 2 while going scoreless. Game 4 is Sunday in Washington.
That was Celtics coach Brad Stevens' instructions to the team yesterday morning as they reviewed game film from Sunday's embarrassing 121-102 loss to the Washington Wizards in Game 4 of the second-round playoff series.
Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal, center, goes to the basket between Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley (0) and Boston Celtics center Al Horford, left, of Dominican Republic, during the first half in Game 4 of a second-round.
Thomas addressed the issue with reporters on Tuesday afternoon. "Man, I don't respect guys like that".
"It's a joke that he said that", Thomas added later, offering that he knows everything gets blown out of proportion during the playoffs. "We have to focus on playing basketball; we can't control what they're doing". Wall had 7 of his 27 points and three of his 12 assists during the run as the Celtics committed eight turnovers - including back-to-back shot-clock violations - and went 0 for 5. "That's the most important thing for us as a team". "Part of playing good basketball is being appropriately physical and being able to own your space and hold your ground and those types of things". "I'm around Kelly every day". Like, this dude be out there trying to hurt people.
