Kawhi Leonard expects to play Game 6

I'm torn over Thursday's Game Six of the fascinating playoff series between the San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets. He suffered a left ankle injury at the 5:37 mark of the third quarter, when he came down on the foot of James Harden as Leonard was turning to run up the court. He played limited minutes for the rest of regulation and did not play in overtime.

"Houston's another story and we'll meet back here (San Antonio) and try again".

Reserve point guard Patty Mills, who is filling in for injured starter Tony Parker, said earlier in the day that Leonard's potential absence shouldn't alter San Antonio's focus headed into Thursday's matchup at the Toyota Center. Leonard finished the game with 22 points (8-of-21 shooting) and 14 rebounds.

Green made a go-ahead 3-pointer and converted a three-point play to make it 109-107 Spurs with 30.1 seconds left. San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich hopes he will not have to find out. "They're a great offensive team". "They're a bunch of competitive guys". With the way the series has gone and the unknown severity of Leonard's injury, there could very well be a Game 7. "Execution and rebounding are probably the two primary things we let slip away in this game". Game 7 won't be until Sunday.

The San Antonio Spurs won Game 5 via overtime on Tuesday night, 110-107, to take a 3-2 lead over the Houston Rockets in their tightly-contested Western Conference semifinals. "Probably got exhausted", D'Antoni said of the lack of pace and production.

U.S. prosecutors told to push for more, harsher punishments
Scherbak said his post - addressed to U.S. media - was prompted by "this hysteria around my photo shoot at the White House". The White House defended its original arrangement with the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"I don't know", he said. If Leonard can't carry this team, I don't think they can hang with Houston and its high-powered offense. "I have no clue". The incredible stunt was the highlight of the whole game, and it made the Spurs lead the playoff series.

The Spurs have an opportunity to advance to the Western Conference Finals with a win in Game 6 at Houston. He averaged a career-high 25.5 points and 5.8 rebounds in the regular season to lead the Spurs to a 61-21 record. Second-year forward Montrezl Harrell provided good minutes off the bench throughout the season, but he has hardly seen the court in the playoffs.

Gasol on the lopsided win: "No one expected a Game 6. win like this, but we just played hard".

Harden's breakdown late in Game 5, when he went 1-for-6 with one assist and four turnovers, is the top-line takeaway after the Rockets' Tuesday-night loss.
