Knocked around by Rangers forward Tanner Glass at the end of the Senators' 4-1 loss in Game 4 on Thursday, Turris got his revenge in a big way. Neil cost Ottawa a power play with a roughing infraction and a 10-minute misconduct.

The Ottawa Senators are on the verge of a long-awaited trip back to the Eastern Conference final.

The Senators lead the best-of-seven 3-2, with the series now moving to Madison Square Garden for Game 6 on Tuesday.

The Caps' comeback did not quite have the drama as Saturday's first game after the Ottawa Senators earned a 3-2 series lead with a 5-4 overtime victory against the New York Rangers.

Ottawa erased its early deficit, pulling within one late in the first and scoring 33 seconds apart in the second to take a 3-2 lead on Pyatt's goal at 8:50. "Now we're going back in front of our fans and I know they're going to be ready and they're going to give us some energy".

"I don't think it's good when you're trying to be pretty and you're looking for extra stuff, which we did most of the year on some of those instances", said Boucher. That tied the game 2-2 and then Pyatt gave Ottawa their first lead when he redirected Zack Smith's no-look shot on goal from near the sideboards.

"I know it's Kentucky Derby day".

"I guess that was our horse tonight", Boucher said with a nod to the Kentucky Derby. "(He was) definitely somebody who came out with the max character and the push back we expect from him.

Texas Lawmakers Approve Ban on 'Sanctuary Cities'
The Texas House of Representatives took up a bill Wednesday that could present some major changes for public high schools. It would also prohibit local governments from adopting or enforcing local bathroom regulations.

New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist (30) and center Derek Stepan (21) react after the Ottawa Senators scored to tie the game late in the third period in Game 5 in the second-round of the NHL hockey Stanley Cup playoffs in Ottawa on Saturday, May 6, 2017. New York's bottom-six forwards did the heavy lifting offensively with two goals and five assists in the win.

"We got outplayed. They played a better all-around game than (we did)". It should leave anybody paying attention with the feeling that they are in complete control and a repeat performance is coming in Game 5. And so we have to manufacture more offence out of no space. Craig Anderson has given up 26 goals on 298 shots faced and Mike Condon has allowed one goal on 10 shots.

Ottawa is now on alert to be aware at another strong NY start.

Grabner appeared to seal it less than five minutes into overtime, but his redirection came on a high-stick.

"He's playing well for them", Neil said on Saturday. "I kind of asked some of the guys and they said not to worry about it". Senators forward Kyle Turris bull-rushed Glass in the corner and, as Glass said, got "the horns" in a fight.

"It's 2-2 and that's all it is", Lundqvist said.

Down 2-0 heading, the Senators were outshot 15-5 in the opening period and the snowball just continued down the hill and got bigger and bigger with NY increasing their lead to 4-0 at one point late in the second. We played with speed, emotion and determination.

"That's the best penalty I've seen anybody take in a long time", Turris said. Instead, Eugene Melnyk is guaranteed at least another million or two with one more home game and possibly a few more. However, the replay showed that Anderson's glove was just on the other side of the goal line when he caught the puck. Senators D Fredrik Claesson was re-inserted into the lineup, replacing rookie D Ben Harpur, who has been in eight playoff games this spring. He was joined by captain Erik Karlsson off the ice as the stalwart defenseman did not play in the third period. They were his second and third points of this series. The Sens managed to choke the life out of the Bruins in the neutral zone multiple times last game.
