Fox News anchor Kelly Wright speaks during a news conference, Wednesday, April 26, 2017, in NY to discuss his part in a lawsuit accusing the network of allowing racial discrimination.
Reports emerged Tuesday that Wright had joined a lawsuit against Fox News alleging racial discrimination and harassment by the employer.
Fox News also announced last week that anchor Bill O'Reilly, one of its top stars, would not return to the network amid past sexual harassment allegations.
The allegations of racial discrimination come shortly after prominent news host Bill O'Reilly was sacked after multiple women came forward with alleged sexual harassment complaints.
Wigdor said that he has since been receiving calls from other Fox News employees about instances of racial discrimination at the network.
Separately on Tuesday, a former Fox News accounts payable specialist, Adasa Blanco, filed a lawsuit in federal court in NY claiming her complaints about racial discrimination were ignored and she was forced to quit in 2013 as a result.
In a separate lawsuit, former Fox employee Adasa Blanco accused ousted Fox News comptroller Judith Slater of calling African American men "women-beaters", mocking stereotypical pronunciations of words such as "month" and "ask", and making repeated derogatory jokes about people of Chinese, Mexican, and Indian descent.
Search is on for man accused of shooting Georgia deputy
A Banks County Sheriff's Office deputy is expected to recover after he was shot Wednesday by a gunman who remains on the loose. Deputies spotted the vehicle and tried to pull it over in the area of Tanger Outlet Center, but the man took off.
Fox said Slater was sacked in February in response to the complaints.
The development comes after former star host Bill O'Reilly was sacked over sexual harassment allegations.
Catherine Foti, a lawyer for Slater, in a statement said the claims were "frivolous" and "solely aimed at generating headlines, inflaming racial tensions and poisoning potential jury pools and judges".
Both Ailes and O'Reilly have denied any wrongdoing.
"This hurts", said Wright at a Wednesday morning news conference, adding that he has been trying to bring up issues of "systemic and institutional bias" at the network for years.
A Fox News Channel anchor who is black has joined a racial discrimination lawsuit against his company, saying Wednesday the network has marginalized him and has little interest in promoting diversity.
Wigdor's law firm also represents Blanco and Lidia Curanaj, a reporter for a Fox affiliate in NY who claims in a lawsuit that she was retaliated against for complaining about sexual harassment.
