Seattle police say two police officers have been shot responding to a downtown robbery. He remains in Harborview in serious but stable condition, but is improving, according to hospital officials. The man told officers he knew of the plan to steal items from the store but was not aware of the shooting, the affidavit said.
Officer Kang spent five years as a reserve officer with the City of Union Gap before he was hired by Seattle PD.

The suspects the police chased were a 17-year-old girl and a 19-year-old man.
Their names were not released.
Police arrested a woman who they believe is connected to the shooting.

According to his Facebook page, Kang is a graduate of Eisenhower High School. He attended Yakima Valley Community College and studied youth ministry at Trinity Lutheran College. The 17-year-old was arrested at the scene.
