China's foreign minister recently likened the USA and North Korea to two speeding trains hurtling toward each other, an analogy that would seem to place China in the role of helpless bystander.
Wang told reporters that although USA officials have made clear that a military strike remains on the table, he believes that Washington would still prefer to de-escalate tensions through multisided talks.
